Keep approved plans and permit information available for the inspector, and do not cover work that is required to be inspected. The City’s eTRAKiT launch information states that the system accepts land-use applications in addition to building, fire, and engineering permits. Before applying for construction, confirm zoning, site development, setbacks, historic-district requirements, and any land-use application with Pocatello Planning. A building permit does not itself authorize a use that is not allowed by the applicable zoning district.
