Confirm the parcel is within Boise’s jurisdiction before applying; Ada County or another municipality may be the authority outside the city.

Boise building permits and plan review

Submit building applications through the City of Boise Permitting and Licensing site. Boise inspections and certificates of occupancy

An account is required to request Boise building inspections online. The City’s inspection guide directs users to locate the issued building permit in the Permitting and Licensing system and use the request workflow. Boise’s published instructions state that the daily inspection cutoff is 7:30 a.m.; planning approval and Public Works inspections may require separate phone scheduling.
