The City of Nampa Building Safety and Code Department provides permit processing, plan review, inspections, and code enforcement within Nampa city limits. Nampa inspections and occupancy

After permit issuance, the applicant or contractor requests inspections through CSS. Nampa’s inspection page lists (208) 468-5404 for the inspection line and explains that approved permit plans must be available at the job site. The City divides underfloor and concrete inspections into zones with morning and afternoon windows, so check the current inspection guidance before scheduling.

When all required inspections and conditions pass, the applicant can request a certificate. Nampa issues a Certificate of Occupancy when the scope creates new occupants and a Certificate of Completion for an existing tenant, an unspecified tenant, or a shell structure. The certificate and approved documents are made available through the online system.

Nampa zoning and code compliance

Planning & Zoning reviews compatibility of the proposed use with the property’s zoning and identifies additional development-code requirements such as parking, landscaping, setbacks, design review, and address requirements.
