Washington County’s Community Development Department separately handles building permits for unincorporated county areas; the county page lists its office at 111 East Tabernacle in St. George. Applying for a St. George building permit

Use the City of St. George’s official applications and Development Services systems for building permit and development submissions. Planning applications, site plans, grading, utilities, and other development approvals can be separate steps from the building permit.
